Meet the Team
Dogs Eye View and The Therapy Dog Team have a wonderful team to introduce to you!
Josh and Vanessa Caldwell
Josh and Vanessa are the Husband and Wife team of Dogs Eye View and The Therapy Dog Team. Josh and Vanessa have two Border Collies of their own who you will see on show when you attend their Group Classes. This husband and wife duo love the life they have with their own dogs and want to give you the skills so that you and your dog can have the best possible life together just as they do with theirs!
Josh and Vanessa conduct Private Lessons and Behavioural Sessions in your home which are tailored to you, your dog and your lifestyle.
Vanessa and Josh conduct a variety of Group Classes for you and your dog to attend. Group Classes are a fantastic opportunity for you to have your dog following your directions and instructions while under the distraction of all of the other dogs and handlers in the class. We have a variety of Group Classes available from Obedience Classes to Tricks Classes.
Worried about attending a group class? Get in touch with Josh or Vanessa today to discuss your concerns and what service will be best for you and your dog.
Kara Thompson
Kara is part of The Therapy Dog Team and visits some of the Primary Schools in Mount Isa working with their beautiful students. Kara has three dogs in her family and she is passionate about the wonderful outcomes that can come from our relationships with dogs. When Kara is not working with The Therapy Dog Team, she is a Primary School teacher. Kara has first hand experience seeing the positive impacts Therapy Dogs have on students within a classroom. There are so many ways a Therapy Dog can work in schools, we could talk about it for hours! Kara is accompanied by either Joy or Jeff, our two Therapy Dogs when attending schools. You might also see Kara attending volunteer visits to organisations bringing “Joy” (literally) and smiles to whoever Jeff, Joy and Kara meet!
Reed Low Mow
Reed is a part of our Dogs Eye View team and is a dedicated dog owner and passionate dog trainer. Reed currently has two dogs of her own and is committed to providing people with the skills to have the best life possible with their dog. You will see Reed alongside our other trainers in Private Sessions and Group Classes. In the very near future, Reed will be conducting some of the Group Classes herself; watch this space!
